RESOLUTION NUMBER 90-4201
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
DONALD PICKING FOR SERVING AS A LABORER AND MAINTENANCE WORKER
FOR THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, FROM
OCTOBER 16, 1964 TO JUNE 30, 1990.
WHEREAS, during the period from October 16, 1964 to June 30, 1990
DONALD PICKING served as Laborer and Maintenance Worker for the Cemetery
Department of the City of Salina, Kansas, and
WHEREAS, DONALD PICKING has demonstrated invaluable and
dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1 . That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation to
DONALD PICKING for his dedicated and faithful service as Laborer and
Maintenance Worker for the Cemetery Department of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be and the same is hereby entered upon the official records of the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to DONALD PICKING.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
25th day of June, 1990.
