Mlyor Duckers and Commissioners:
This letter and accompanying petition is in reference to the
intersection of Dover Drive and Teakwood. \1e, the residents of
this area, are requesting either a stop sign or a yield sign at
the afore mentioned streets.
There was 100% cooperation from everyone who was at home at
the time we took the petition. The signatures show that there
is complete backing and a definite need for soms type of traffic
control.
\1e sincerely hope that you will give the contents of this petition
serious thought before 11!/J.klng your decision. After all, its our lives
that are in your hands.
In conclusion, we would like to point out that if we didn't feel
there is a definite need, we wouldn't be wasting your time.

This is a petition to get a. Yield Sign or Stop Sign at the corner of
Teakwood and Dover Drive to protect you and your family and to say
who has the right-of-way in case of an accident; considering the
fact that there have been severa]. near misses and, on May 19, 1977,
there was an actual accident. We, the undersigned, fee' that there
is a definite need for some type of control signal at the corner
previously mentioned, If you live on Dover Drive, Teakwood, \'/inona
Street or Westwood you are directly or indirectly involved, Please.
if you feel some type of protective measure is needed, sign below.
A copy of this letter is being sent to Mayor Duckers to be presented
at the city commission meetings to show that we need ~ action.
