TO THE HONORABLE CITYCONMISSION "OF THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE
COUNTY, :KANSAS:
We, the undersigned, respectfully petition that your
Honorable BoGY not permit the Salina flood protection levee'south
of Magnolia Road to be used as a jogging trail or running track.
It is believed that such proposed use would not be in the best
interests of the City of Salina at large, and that such use
would be very harmful and detrimental to those who own and use
property adjoining such levee.
It should be pointed out that the
proposed use is a departure from the original purposes of the
project and was not contemplated at the time of the original
