VACATION OF THB TlIB UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATBD ON THB WEST :
SBVBNTEEN AND FIVE TENTHS FEET OF TilE VACATED MICHIGAN AVENUB, ¡
FROM THB SOUTH LlNB OF IRON AVHNUB TO TUB NORTH LlNB OF STAPLBR I
AVENUE, IN TIlE CITY OF SALINA, SALlNB COUNTY, KANSAS. .
Y/1IEREAS, a petition has been filed in the Office of the City Clerk I
by Bill Medina, petitioner, requesting the vacation of the utility casements I
located on ¡he west seventeen and live tenths feet of the vacated Michigan;
Avenue, from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north line of Stapler
Avenue, in the City of Salina; Saline County, Kansas; SO NOW, TlIEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Hody of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section I. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give public
notice as reljuircd by K.S.A. 12-504 stating that a petition has been filed for
the vacation of the utility casement located on the west seventeen and five
tenths feet of the vacated Michigan Avenue, frc"T\ the south line of Iron Avenue
to the north line of Stapler Avenue, in the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas, and stating that the petition will be presented to the Governing Body
of the City for a hearing on June 21, 1993, and that at such time and place all
persons interested can appear and bc heard under the petition.
Section 2.
This rcsolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
7th day of June, 1993
