ORDINANCE NUMBER 6155

AN ORDINANCE ratifying and confirming the respective contracts of Johnson Brothers Construction
Company, Bradley Building Company, Inc., McCollum Construction Company, and M. W. Watson
Contractor, for the improvement of the Salina Municipal Airport of the City of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the acceptance by the City -of Salina, Kansas of the proposal of
Johnson Brothers Construction Company, Bradley Building Company, Inc, McCollum Construction
Company, and M. W.I Watson Contractor, hereinafter referred to as "Contractors" as respectively
submitted to the said Board on May 28, 1957, are respectively found to be the lowest and best'
bids for the work to be respectively performed, and the contracts awarded by the Board of
Commissioners of s d city to said contractors and signed on behalf of the City of Sabha by
its Mayor on June 1, 1957, for the improvement of the Salina Municipal Airport rport of the said

city, at and for tae unit prices for said work in said proposal, which proposals and contract
are hereby referred to and made parts of this ordinance, be and the same are hereby ratified)
and confirmed, said proposals being within the estimated cost of said improvements as shown
by the sworn estimates of the Engineer for such purpose and being on file in the office of the
City Clerk, which estimates are hereby referred to and made parts of this ordinance.
Section 2. Said improvements shall be build, constructed and completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications hherefore prepared by the Engineer for such purpose and on
file in the office of the City Clerk and in accordance with the respective proposal of said
contractors and under the terms of said respective contracts, all of which are in corporated
with this ordinanc by reference.
Section 3. is ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the ,official city Paper.
