AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance 55.9 and the Zoning District
Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within
the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map the rezoning
of certain lands within, hereinafter described has been timely complied with; and S0� NOW
THEREFORE.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
I
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D".9 LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the Zoning
District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance Number 55+9, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property
be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
The North Half (N2) of Lot 1 on Iron Avenue
and the west sixty-five (65) feet of Lot 3
on Ninth Street in Phillips Addition to the
City of Salina, Kansas be rezoned from Zone
"C" to Zone "D".
Commencing at a point on 6he east Right-of-
way line of U.S. 81 By-pass; and 500 feet irouth-
east of the center line of Hageman Avenue; thence
east 990 feet to a point on the West Right -of -
Way line of Ninth Street; thence south on the West
Right -of -Way line of Ninth Street 1070 feet to a point
of intersection with the East Right-of-way line
of U.S. 1- ass• thence north
By p westerly to a point
of beginning, in the City of Salina, Kansas,
be rezoned to Zone
Lot 17, Block 5, Schippel Addition th the City
of Salina, Kansas, be rezoned from Zone "A" to
Zone "Drr
shall become a part of District "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use or said
described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as
made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 55+9 with reference to the Local Business
District, as aforesaid.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force from and after its publication
and adoption once in the official city paper.
