6203 AnnexationCONSOLIDATE13-SALINA ORDINANCE NUMBER 620L (First Published in The Salina Journa]�`�, 22 , 1958) w AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina, Kansas, have come to pass, AND NOW, BE IT ORDAINED by the -Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That a certain tract of land platted into lots and blocks, and known as Claremont Addition and lying in the Northeast Quarter (NEV') of the Southeast Quarter (SE,) of Section Eighteen (18), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of Section 18, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian and 200*0 feet south of the east -west quarter line thereof; thence south along said east line of section 130.0 feet; thence west along the south line of Lot 1, Block 7,Claremont Addition 120.0 feet to the southwest corner thereof; thence south 24.5 feet and 60.0 feet west to the southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 4 of said Addition; thence west following the south lines of Lots 6, 5, 4, 31 2, and 1 to the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence northwesterly to the southeast corner of Lot 3 of Block 3 of said Addition; thence following the south lines of Lots 3 and 2 to the south corner of Lot 2; thence southeasterly along east edge of Lot 4 to the southeast corner of Lot 4; thence southwesterly along the south edge of Lot 4 to the southwest corner thereof; thence across Claremont Drive to the southeast corner of Lot 5, Block 2 of said Addition; thence following the meandering south line of Lot 5 to the southwest corner thereof, said corner being on the east line of Upper Mill Heights Addition; thence north along east line of Upper Mill Heights Addition to a point 200.0 feet south of the northeast corner of said Upper Mill Heights Addition; thence east following a line 200.0 feet south of the center line of Greeley Avenue 1312.5 feet more or less to the point of beginning. Section 2. That a certain unplatted tract of land described as the West 200 feet of the south .130 feet of the north 330 feet of the Southwest Quarter (SW—,) of Section Seventeen (17),' Township Fourteen (14) South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas, described as follows Beginning at a point which is 200 feet south of the south quarter of Section Seventeen (17) and 200 feet east of the west section line of said Section 17; thence south 130.0 feet; thence west 200.0 feet; thence north along said west line of section 130.0 feet; thence east 200.0 feet to the point of beginning. Section 3. That a certain tract of land platted into lots and blocks, and known as Schippel Addition and lying in the Northeast Quarter (NE -1) of the Northeast Quarter (NEJ) of Section 25, Township 14 South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of Section 25, Township 14 South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian and 200.0 feet south of the north line of said 1 1 1 a CON SOLIDAT ED -j ALI NA Section; thence south along said east section line to j the north one -sixteenth section line; thence west along said one -sixteenth line to a point 200.0 feet east of the center line of Roach Street; thence north following a line 200.0 feet east of the center line of Roach Street to a point 200.0 feet south of the north line of said Section 25; thence east following a line 200.0 feet south of the north line of said Section 25 to the point of beginning. Section 4. That a certain unplatted tract of land described as the west 250.0 feet except I P. the north 200.0 feet thereof, of the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW,) of Section 30, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies or touches the boundary of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas, described as follows Beginning at a point on the west line of Section 30, Towhship 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, which point is 200.0 feet south of the northwest corner of said Section 30; thence east 250.0 feet; thence south following line which is 250.0 feet east of the west line of said section to the north one -sixteenth line of said section; thence west 250.0 feet; thence north along west section line to the point of beginning. Section 5. That a certain unplatted tract of land described as the west 250.0 feet of theI north 200.0 feet of the Southeast Quarter (SE') of the Northeast Quarter (NES) of Section 30, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies or touches the boundary of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows; Beginning at a point on the west line of Section 30, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian which point is on the north one -sixteenth line of said Section; thence east 250.0 feet; thence south 200.0 feet; thence west 250.0 feet; thence north 200.0 feet to the point of beginning. Section 6. That a certain unplatted tract of land described as the north 200.0 feet except the west 200.0 feet thereof, of the Southeast Quarter (SE,,,,) of the Northeast Quarter (NE -1) of Section 30, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas, described as follows Beginning at a point on the west line of Section 30, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, which point is on the north one -sixteenth line of said Section 30; thence west along said one -sixteenth line to a point 200.0 feet east of the center line of Roach Street; thence south 200.0 feet; thence east to the west line of said Section 30, thence north 200.0 feet to the point of beginning. Section 7. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
