ORDINANCE NUMBER 6198

AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance 5549 and the Zoning District
Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property within
the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map the rezoning
of certain lands within, hereinafter described has been timely complied as of and SO, NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. Amendment. District "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the Zoning
District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property
be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
All of that part of Lot 2 in Surveyor's Plat 34 in the City
of Salina, in said county and state described by metes and bounds
as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 2 in
said Surveyor's Plat 34, thence south on the west line of said Lot 2, 649.2
feet, being the southwest corner of the tract hereby conveyed, thence
east at right -angles with the said west line of said lot, 70 feet
more or less to the westerly boundary of that certain tract of land
conveyed by George H. Duncan and others unto the City of Salina,
Kansas, and/or to said west line of that certain tract acquired
by said City by condemnation proceedings; thence Northeasterly
on the westerly line of said tract so conveyed or acquired to a point
300 feet east of and 349.2 feet south of the point of beginning;
thence Northeasterly on the westerly line of said tract so conveyed
and/or acquired by said City to a point on the south line of Iron Avenue,
being 115 feet west of the Northwest corner of said Lot 2 abutting
the south line of said Iron Avenue, thence west on the North line
of said Lot 2, 600 feet more or less to the point of beginning
containing 5.18 acres of land more or less; is hereby rezoned to
Zone "D" in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas.

shall become a part of District "D", LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of said
described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations
as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference to the Local Business'
District, as aforesaid.

Section 2-. That this ordinance shall be in full force from and after its publication
and adoption once in the official city paper.
