ORDINANCE NUMBER 6178
AN ORDINANCE amending Article 3, Section 2 (4)
Ordinance Number 5823 providing for and
regulating curb street cuts recessed parking area; providing for the issuance of permit
therefor and repealing Article 3,Section 2 (4) Ordinance Number 5823.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. No permit shall be issued for recessed parking area which shall abut any
street the improved portion of which is less than forty (40) feet in width, measured

between curb facings, without the approval of at least four-fifths vote of the Board of
City Commissioners.
Section 2. Repeal; Article 3, Section 2 (4) Ordinance Number 5823 is hereby repealed.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper.
