ORDINANCE NUMBER 6176

AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, AND NOW,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
j Section 1. That a certain tract of land platted into lots and blocks, and known as
Country Club Heights Addition Number 3, and lying in the north one-half (N2) of the south
one-half (S-ff') of the northwest quarter (NW4) of Section Seventeen (17), Township Fourteen
(14) South, Range Two (2) west of the Sixth Principal Meridian; so situated that two-thirds
(2/3) of a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate
limits of the City of Salina, Kansas, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the east quarter line
and the east -west one -sixteenth line of the northwest
quarter (NW4) of Section Seventeen (17), Township Fourteen
(14), Range Two (2) west of the Sixth Principal Meridian,
thence west 2620.9 feet, more or less, to the intersection
of said line and the east quarter line of the Northeast
�NE,') Quarter of Section Eighteen (18) Township Fourteen
14) South, Range Two (2) west of the Sixth Principal Meridian;
thence south along said quarter line 664.8 feet; thence east
2620.9 feet, more or less, to the intersection of said line
and the east quarter line of the northwest quarter (NWS)
of Section Seventeen (17), Township Fourteen (14) south,
Range Two (2) west of the Sixth Principal Meridian; thence
north along said quarter line 664.8 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning.
be and the same is hereby incorporated within the limits of the City of Salina, Kansas;
Section 2. That a certain unplatted tract of land described as the west 200 feet of the
south one-half (S2) of the south one-half (SZ) of the northwest quarter (NW -W1) of Section
Seventeen (17), Township Fourteen (14) south, Range Two (2) west of the Sixth Principal
Meridian; and the north 200 feet of the west 200 feet of the southwest quarter (SW") of
Section Seventeen (17), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) west of the Sixth
Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or
boundary lies upon or touches the boundary of the existing corporate limits of the City of
Salina, Kansas, described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is 664.8 feet south of the
east -west one -sixteenth line, of the northwest quarter
(NW,,) of Section Seventeen (17), Township Fourteen (14)
South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,
and 200 feet east of the west section line of said section;
thence south to a point which is 200 feet south of the south
Quarter of said Section Seventeen (17) and 200 feet, east of
the west section line of section Seventeen (17) Township
Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal
Meridian; thence west iso said west section line; thence north
to a point which is 664.8 feet south of the east -west one -

(NEJ) of Section Eighteen (18), Township Fourteen (14) South,
