AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW0 THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Ccmmnissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 14,
South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a
line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of
the City of Salina,
Kansas described as follows:
(1)
Beginning at a point which is 200.0 feet west and
200.0 feet south of the intersection of the center
lines of Garden Avenue and Hageman Avenue.
(2)
thence south and parallel to the center line of
Hageman Avenue 895.0 feet.
(3)
thence east following the south lines of Blocks
6 and 7 of Worsley Addition to a point 200.0 feet
west of the west right-of-way of U, S, 81.
(4)
thence northwesterly following a line which is
200.0 feet west and parallel to the west line of
U, S. 81 By-pass to its intersection with a line
200.0 feet south of the center line of Garden Avenue
extended east;
(5)
thence west along a line which is 200.0 feet south of

point of beginning.

Section 2. That a tract of land in the Noutheast Quarter of Section 15, Township 14,
South, Range 3 West
of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds2

the City of Salina,
Kansas described as follows:
(1)
Beginning at a point which is on the center line of Crawford
Avenue, which point is the intersection of the west line of
Edgemere Addition and the north line of Section 22, Township
14 South, Range 3 West.
(2)
thence north along a line which is the west line of Edgemere
Addition extended north 1442.44 feet;
(3)
thence east to a point which is 600.0 feet west oftie east
line of Section 15, Township 14 South, Range 3 West,
(4)
thence south 1442.44 feet to the center line of Crawford Avenue
(5)
thence west along the center line of Crawford Avenue to the
point of beginning.
