AN OFMINANCB for the vacation of North and South Alleys within the City of Salina, Salimr
County, Kansas.
BE IT 01MAIM by the Board of Cosmissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the forth and South Alley between Second Street and Front Street and
North of Lincoln Avenue and abutting Lots 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, and 40, on Second Street and
Lots 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 on Front Street in Jones Addition to the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas, be and are hereby vacated; provided however, that the City reserves
the right to construct, repair, and maintain severs, water lime, electric lases, tolegssâ–ºph
lines, gas lines and other utility lines in said alley.
Section 2, That the forth and South Alley between Front Street and Grant Avenue and
Railroad Avenue and Lincoln Avenue and abutting Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 92 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21,
23, 25, and 27 on Front Street and Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, lo, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 and
28 on Grant Avenue in Dorris Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and
are hereby vacated; provided however, that the City reserves the right to construct, repair
and maintain sewers, water Lines, electric lines, telegraph lines, gas lines and other
utility lines in said alley.
Section 3. That the Alleys hereby vacated shall revert, subject to the reservations
aforesaid, to the adjoining land as provided by law
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
