RESOLUTION NUMBER 90-4244
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AFTER REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS
CHARGES TO ESTABLISH WATER SERVICE UNDER A NEW ACCOUNT OR
REESTABLISH SERVICE AFTER SHUT OFF FOR NONPAYMENT.
WHEREAS, requests to establish service under a new account or to
reestablish service after shut off for nonpayment which require after hours work
by City employees result in overtime costs to the City, SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. A fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall be charged to
any customer who requests to establish service under a new account after 12:00
noon on any regular business day and who requests that the service be turned
on that same day.
Section 2.
A fee
of
twenty-five
dollars
($25.00) shall
be charged to
any customer who
wishes
to
reestablish
service
after normal
working hours
following a shut off for nonpayment of the customer's account.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective from and after its
adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commission and signed by the Mayor this
22nd day of October, 1990.
