RENEWAL PLAN IN PHOJECT KANSAS n=-29. -
WHEREAS, the Urban Renewal Agency of Salina, Kansas, herein
called the "AGENCY", has acquired the property described in the
attached "Exhibit A", in connection with the acquisition of the
real property within Project Kansas R-29.
AND, WHEREAS, the AGENCY now has the opportunity to market the
property shown on Exhibit A and described as follows for the sum
of $25,000.00 which meets or exceeds the Fair Market Value according
to a Re-Use Appraisal dated November 1, 1976 and approved by Resolu-
tion No. 130.
Lots 1- 4 and part of 5 all in Block A
in the Northeast Industrial Park in Salina,
Kansas.
AND, WHEREAS, the AGENCY believes that sale of said property,
as aforesaid, for the price indicated will increase the likelihood
of sale of other properties in Project Kansas R-29, which have not
heretofore sold.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive Director of
the AGENCY be authorized and directed to offer and sell said parcel
to Butler Hanufacturing Company, BMA Tower, Penn Valley Park,
Kansas City, Missouri, at the aforesaid pric~.
