ORDINANCE NUMBER 05-10302
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE SALINA
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT. That the Comprehensive
Plan shall be amended as follows:

That the Salina Land Use Map (Figure 11, P. 107) of the Comprehensive Plan of
the City of Salina be amended as follows:
The area from 1/4 mile south of Water Well Road to 3/8 mile south
of Water Well Road be changed from Light Industrial/Business
Park to Service Commercial on the Land Use Map.
Based upon the following findings:
a. The proposed change is consistent with the Goals, Objectives and Policies and
the overall Comprehensive Plan;
b. The proposed amendment does not affect the adequacy of existing or planned
facilities and services of the City or service area generally;
c. The proposed change results in reasonably compatible land -use relationships;
d. The proposed action would not materially alter the planned capital
improvements; and
e. The proposed action does not alter the implications of the land -use and growth
projections which are an essential basis for arriving at the Plan.
Section 2. That all prior ordinances in conflict herewith as they relate to the above
described real estate are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city newspaper.
