ORDINANCE NUMBER 05-10299
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TRACT
OF LAND LOCATED NORTH OF MAGNOLIA ROAD AND WEST OF HOLMES ROAD, IN
SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-519
w TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:

A parcel of land located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 14 South,
Range 2 West of the 6th Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas,
Commencing at the Southeast comer of said Southeast Quarter; thence on an assumed
bearing of N 00°27'58" W along the East line of said Southeast Quarter a distance of
50.00 feet;
-thence S 89°26'52" W a distance of 24.75 feet to the intersection of the North right-
of-way line of Magnolia Road and the West right-of-way line of Holmes Road, said
point also being the POINT OF BEGINNING;
- thence S 89°26'52" W along said North right-of-way line a distance of 571.59 feet to
the East line of Magnolia Hills Addition;
- thence N 00°33'21" W along said East line a distance of 1257.18 feet to the Northeast
comer of said Magnolia Hills Addition;
- thence S 89°26'26" W along the North line of said Magnolia Hills Addition a distance
of 715.23 feet to a point on the West line of the East Half of said Southeast Quarter;
- thence N 00°27'24" W along said West line a distance of 1340.15 feet to a point on
the North line of said Southeast Quarter;
- thence N 89°34'57" E along said North line a distance of 354.45 feet to the Northwest
comer of a parcel recorded in Deed Book 270, Page 308 at the Saline County Register
of Deeds Office;
- thence S 00°20'05" E along the West line of said recorded parcel a distance of 249.98
feet to the Southwest comer of said recorded parcel;
- thence N 89°28'57" E along the South line of said recorded parcel a distance of
260.19 feet;
- thence N 00°33'09" W along said South line a distance of 65.04 feet;
- thence N 89°37'52" E along said South line a distance of 674.60 feet to a point on
said West right-of-way line of Holmes Road;
- thence S 00°27'58" E along said West right-of-way line a distance of 2409.15 feet to
the POINT OF BEGINNING;
Said parcel contains 51.77 acres, more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
