A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
ALBERT R. (BOBBY) KORBE FOR SERVING THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS
FROM MAY 29, 1952 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1991 AS LABORER, FOREMAN AND
MAINTENANCE WORKER FOR THE WATER DISTRIBUTION CREW OF THE
SALINA WATER AND SEWERAGE DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, during the period from May 29, 1952 to September 30,
li 1991, ALBERT R. (BOBBY) KORBE served the City of Salina, Kansas as
Laborer, Foreman and Maintenance Worker for the Maintenance Crew of the
Salina Water and Sewerage Department; and
WHEREAS, ALBERT R. (BOBBY) KORBE has demonstrated invaluable
and dedicated service to the City of Salina, Kansas; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and
appreciation to ALBERT R. (BOBBY) KORBE for his dedicated and faithful
service to the City of Salina, Kansas as Laborer, Foreman and Maintenance
Worker for the Maintenance Crew of the Salina Water and Sewerage
Department, be and the same is hereby entered upon the official records of
the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to ALBERT R. (BOBBY) KORBE.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 23rd day of September, 1991.
