AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
WUREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THUMBE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas;
Section 1. That a tract of land in the Northwest Quarter (Nq) of Section 26, Township.
14 South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of
a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of
the City of Salina.. Kansas, described as follows:
(1) Beginning at a point 480.0 feet south of the north line of
said Section 26 and the east right-of-way line of Interstate
35W.
(2) thence southeasterly along said right-of-way to corner of right-
of-way, which corner is also the northwest corner of Lot 13,
Block 7, Talley Addition
(3) thence along said right-of-way southwest 200.0 feet
(4) thence southeasterly following line of said right-of-way to
the west right-of-way of Missouri Pacific Railroad

(5) thence easterly crossing the said railroad right-of-way
to a point on the east right-of-way of said railroad
which is 140.0 feet south of the center line of Talley Drive
(6) thence northeasterly following the said east right-of-way of
railroad to a point 480.0 feet south of the north line of
said Section 26
(7) thence west and parallel to the north line of said Section 26
to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby incorporated within the limits of the City of Salina, Kansas
Section 2. That a tract of land in the Southeast Quarter (SF) of Section 2, Township
14 South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of
a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boun n8
dory line of the existing corporate limits of
the City of Salina, Kansas, described as follows:
(1) Beginning at a point 30.0 feet north of the center line of
Hamilton Avenue and the center line of Twelfth Street
(2) thence north along the center line of Twelfth Street to a
Point 30.0 feet north.of the north line of Lot 15, Block 49,
Military Addition
(3) thence east to the west line of Lot 17, Block 49, Military Addition
(4) thence north to the north line of Antrim Avenue;
(5) thence east along north line of Antrim to a point 120 feet
west of the east line of Lot 12, Block 2 of Tucker Park Addition
(6) thence north to the center line of Dry Creek
(7) thence west and southerly following the center line of Dry
creek to a point directly west of a point 30 feet north of
the center line of Hamilton Avenue
(8) thence east along a line 30.0 feet north of the center line
of Hamilton Avenue to the point of beginning.

Section 3. That a tract of land in the Southeast Quarter (SF.) of Section 2, Township
14 South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of
a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of
the City of Salina, Kansas, described as follows:
(1) Beginning on the south line of said Section 2, which is
also the center line of Pacific Avenue and the east line
extended of first alley west of TWilfth Street
(2) thence north along east line of said alley to a point 40.0
feet north of the center line of Harsh Avenue;
(3) thence west to the center line of Dry Creek
(4) thence northerly, westerly, southerly following the center
line of Dry Creek to its intersection with the south line
of South line of said Section 2;
(5) thence east along the south line of said Section 2 to the
point of beginning.
be and the same is hereby incorporated within the limits of the City of Salina, Kansas
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
