ORDINANCE NUMBER 05-10288
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TRACT
OF LAND LOCATED SOUTH OF MAGNOLIA ROAD AND EAST OF THE SMOKY HILL
RIVER, IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:
A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 14 South, Range
2 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner Highland Meadows Hamlet an Addition to the City
of Salina, Kansas;
- Thence S 21°17'00" E a distance of 123.69 feet;
- Thence S 58°34'19" E a distance of 32.23 feet;
- Thence S 21°17'00" E a distance of 61.48 feet;
- Thence S 16'00'19" W a distance of 32.23 feet;
- Thence S 21°17'00" E a distance of 206.70 feet;
- Thence S 65°34'33" W a distance of 236.95 feet;
- Thence S 56°35'21" W a distance of 690.60 feet to a point on the south line of
said Northwest Quarter;
- Thence S 89°14'20" W along said south line a distance of 267.34 feet;
- Thence N 22° 15'23" W a distance of 712.45 feet;
- Thence N 11'44'42" W a distance of 253.53 feet to a point on the south line of
said Highland Meadows Hamlet Addition;
- Thence N 82°36'06" E along the south line of said Highland Meadows Hamlet a
distance of 70.19 feet;
- Thence N 78°15'18" E continuing along said south line a distance of 100.00 feet
to a point on the west right-of-way line of Aberdeen Lane;
- Thence S 89°24'54" E continuing along said south line a distance of 61.42 feet to
a point on the east right-of-way line of said Aberdeen Lane;
- Thence N 78'15'18" E continuing along said south line a distance of 156.65 feet;
- Thence S 11°44'42" E continuing along said south line a distance of 160.00 feet;
- Thence S 28'29'12" E continuing along said south line a distance of 201.22 feet;
- Thence S 36°51'44" E continuing along said south line a distance of 4 1.97 feet;
- Thence N 56°07'40" E continuing along said south line a distance of 2 10. 00 feet
to a point on the east right-of-way line of Dundee Lane;
- Thence S 33°52'20" E continuing along said south line a distance of 135.58 feet;
- Thence N 56007'40" E a distance of 522.05 feet to the point of beginning.
Contains 17.00 acres more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-526,
inclusive, is hereby annexed and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
