A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR
VACATION OF A PORTION OF CLAFLIN AVENUE IN AUSTIN SUBDIVISION OF
THE CITY OF SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed in the Office of the City Clerk
by the Ry -Co., Inc, petitioner, requesting the vacation of Claflin Avenue
from Austin Circle to Austin Circle, adjacent to Lots Fifteen (15) and Sixteen
(16) , Block Two (2) and Lots One (1) and Two (2) , Block Five (5) , Austin
Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give public
notice as required by K.S.A. 12-504 stating that a petition has been filed for
the vacation of Claflin Avenue from Austin Circle to Austin Circle, adjacent
to Lots Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16) , Block Two (2) and Lots One (1) and
Two (2) , Block Five (5) , Austin Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas, and stating that the petition will be presented to the Governing Body
of the City for a hearing on July 13, 1992, and that at such time and place
all persons interested can appear and be heard under the petition.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 22nd day of June, 1992.
