A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR
VACATION OF A PORTION OF A CERTAIN NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY IN THE
GROUNDS OF KANSAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed in the Office of the City Clerk
by the Craig and Melody Hawkinson, petitioners, requesting the vacation of
the south half of the north -south alley between Minneapolis, Beloit, Santa Fe
and Fourth Streets, adjacent to Lot Twenty (20), Twenty-two (22) and
Twenty-four (24) on Santa Fe Avenue and Lot Twenty-two (22), Minneapolis
Avenue, in the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University Addition to the City of
Salina, Saline County, Kansas, SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give public
notice as required by K.S.A. 12-504 stating that a petition has been filed for
the vacation of the south half of the north -south alley between Minneapolis,
Beloit, Santa Fe and Fourth Streets, adjacent to Lot Twenty (20), Twenty-two
(22) and Twenty-four (24) on Santa Fe Avenue and Lot Twenty-two (22) ,
Minneapolis Avenue, in the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University Addition to
the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, and stating that the petition will
be presented to the Governing Body of the City for a hearing on
July 13, 1992, and that at such time and place all persons interested can
appear and be heard under the petition.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 22nd day of June, 1992.
