AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 5549 and the Zoning
District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property
within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning
of certain lands therein, hereinafter described have been timely complied with, and SO NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "F". LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. That the Zoning
District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property
be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter (SWk) of Section
Fourteen (14), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Three (3)
West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas,
described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the west line of U. S. Highway 81 By-pass
745.55 feet north of'the point where the west lice of said highway
intersects the south line of said Section, thence south along the
west line of said highway One -hundred Eighty-seven and Fifty-five
hundredths fiat (187.551)0 thence west Five -hundred Twenty feet
(520') to the east line of Duvall Avenue, thence north along the
said east line of Duvall Avenue, a distance of One -hundred
eighty-seven and Fifty-five hundredths feet (187.551) thence
East to the point of beginning.
shall become a part of District "F". LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. That the use of said
Described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations as
made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference to the Light Industrial
District, aforesaid.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
