ORDINANCE NUMBER .-6424

AN ORDINANCE for the vacation of certain alleys within the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the North and South Alley abutting Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, on West Place and
Lots 2, 4, 62 8, 10 on College in Weavers Second Addition, be and is hereby vacated,
provided however, that the City reserves the right to construct, repair and maintain sewers,.)
water lines, electric lines, telegraph lines, gas lines and other utility lines in said Alley.
Section 2. That the East and West Alley abutting Lot 1 on West Place, Lot 2 on Col
in Weaver's Second Addition and Lots 45, 47, 49, 51, and 57 on Elm Street in Weaver's
Addition, be and is hereby vacated, provided however, that the City reserves the right to
construct, repair and maintain sewers, water lines, electric lines, telegraph lines, gas
lines and other utility lines in said Alley.
Section 3. That the North and South Alley abutting Park 1 from the north line of the
AT&SF Ry. Co. right-of-way to the south line of the AT&SF Ry.Co. right-of-way, be and is
hereby vacated, provided however, that the City reserves the right to construct, repair,
and maintain sewers, water lines, electric lines, telegraph lines, gas lines and other
utility lines in said Alley.
Section 4. That the Alleys hereby vacated shall revert, subject to the reservations
aforesaid, to the adjoining land as provided by law.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
