6423 Vacate Grand BlvdCONSOLIDATED-SALINA 1 ORDINANCE NUMBER 6423 (Published in The Salina Journal , 1960) AN ORDINANCE for the vacation of certain streets within the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the South Thirty feet of Grand Boulevard from the west line of West Place to the east line of Chicago Street, be and is hereby vacated, provided however, that the City reserves the right to construct, repair and maintain sewers, water lines, electric lines, telegraph lines, gas lines and other utility lines in said street. Section 2. That the South Thirty feet of Grand Boulevard from the west line of U. S. Highway 81 (Broadway) right-of-way to the east bank of Dry Creek, be and is hereby vacated, provided however, that the City reserves the right to construct, repair and maintain sewers; water lines, electric lines, telegraph lines, gas lines and other utility lines in said street. Section 3. That West Place from the north line of the AT&SF Ry. Co. right-of-way to the south line of the AT&SF Ry. Co. right-of-way, be and is hereby vacated, provided however that the City reserves the right to construct, repair and maintain sewers, water lines, electric lines, telegraph lines, gas linea and other utility lines in said street. Section 4. That the Streets hereby vacated shall revert, subject to the reservations aforesaid, to the adjoining land as provided by law. Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
