ORDINANCE NUMBER 6385

AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 5549 and the Zoning
District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property
within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map the rezoning
of certain lands therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, AND SO NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "A". FIRST DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT. That the Zoning
District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property
be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 8, Riker Addition, thence
North 140 feet, thence West 417 feet, thence South 140 feet, thence I
East 417 feet to point of beginning, from Zone "D" to Zone "A".
shall become a part of District "A". FIRST DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT. That the use of said
described property shall be subject to all the consitions, restrictions and limitations as
made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference to the First Dwelling
House District, as aforesaid.
Section 2. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the Zoning Distr
Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance
Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended wo that the following described property be rezoned
as follows, to -wit:
Lot 10, except the South 65 feet and Lot 9, except the South 65 feet,
and the West 100 feet in Riker Addition, City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas,
to Zone "D".
shall become a part of District "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of said descri
property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations as made and
provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference to the Local Business District,
as aforesaid.
Section 3. AIMDMENT. DISTRICT "G". HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. That the Zoning
District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property
be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
Lots 45, 51, 53 on Elm Street in Weaver's Addition, lying west of the
Missouri Pacific Railroad, in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas,
from Zone "F" to Zone "G".
shall become a part of District "G". HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT. That the use of said
described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as
made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference to the Heavy Industrial
district, as aforesaid.

Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city paper.
