AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a tract of land in Section 26, Township 14 South, Range 3 West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies upon
or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas
described as follows:
(1) Beginning at a point which is 200.0 feet south of the
center line of Garden Avenue and 200.0 feet west of
the center line of Hageman Avenue.
(2) thence south following a line 200.0 feet west of the center
line of Hageman Avenue extended to a point 1095 feet south
of the center line of Garden Avenue.
(3) thence west on a line parallel to Garden Avenue extended
west to a point 696.04 feet west of center of said Section
26 to the right-of-way line of Interstate Highway 35W.
(4) thence north 42720'20" west along the east right-of-way
line of said Interstate Highway 1412.8 feet to the east
right-of-way of the Missouri Pacific Railroad,
(5) thence north 32'25130" east along the said Missouri Pacific
right-of-way to a point 200.0 feet south of center line of
Talley Drive,
(6) thence east along a line 200.0 feet south of the center
line of Talley Drive and 200.0 feet south of the center
line of Garden Avenue to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby incorporated within the limits of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That a tract of land in Sections 17, 18, 19 and 20, Township 14 South,
2 west of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or
boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the

(1) Beginning at a point which is 200.0 feet east of the west
line of said Section 17 and on the south k line of said Section
17,
(2) thence south parallel to the west line of said Section 17
and said Section 20 to a point 200.0 feet south of the
north line of said Section 20,
(3) thence west following a line 200.0 feet south and parallel
to the north line of said Section 19 to the 1/16 section
line of said Section 20,
(4) thence north following the 1/16 section line to the southeast
corner of Upper Mill Heights Addition,
(5) thence east following the south line and the extension east
of Claremont Heights Addition to a point 200.0 feet east of
the west line of said Section 17 or the point of beginning.

Section 3. That a tract of land in the northwest k of Section 30, Township 14 South,
Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line
or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the
City of Salina, Kansas described as follows:
(1) Beginning at a point 250.0 feet east of the west line of
said Section 30 and 200.0 feet north of the center line
of Albert Avenue,
(2) thence east along a line 200.0 feet north of the center
line of Albert Avenue extended east to the center line
of the Smoky Hill River,
(3) thence southerly and easterly following the center line
of the Smoky Hill River to the 1/16 section line of
said Section 30,
(4) thence south along the said 1/16 section line to a point
200.0 feet south of the center line of Wayne Avenue
extended east,
(5) thence west following a line 200.0 feet south and parallel i
to the center line of Wayne Avenue extended east to a
point 250.0 feet east of the west line of Said Section 30,
(6) thence north along a line 250.0 feet east of the west line
of said Section 30 to a point 200.0 feet north of the
center line of Albert Avenue or the point of beginning.

Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
