L -3 - (Published (Published in The Salina Journal August AP, 1992) RESOLUTION NUMBER 92-4493 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AND ESTABLISHING PARKING ZONES WITHIN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, AND THE RESPECTIVE TIME LIMITS THEREIN; REPEALING ALL EXISTING RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS RESOLUTION AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBER 92-4416. BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 8-2002 the following parking zones and time limits therein are hereby established. THIRTY MINUTE PARKING (a) Two on street spaces in the 100 block of South Seventh Street on the west side of the United Building. (b) Five on street spaces in front of 144 and 146 North Seventh Street (between the crosswalk and the private parking lot entrance) . (c) Two on street spaces in front of McCune Paper Company, 254 N. Santa Fe. ONE HOUR PARKING (a) Lot 5B on the east side of Seventh Street between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street. TWO HOUR PARKING (a) The east side of Fourth Street from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north line of Walnut Street. (b) The west side of Fifth Street from the south line of Ash Street to the north line of Iron Avenue. (c) Both sides of Fifth Street from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north line of Walnut Street. (d) The west side of Santa Fe Avenue from the south line of Elm Street to the north line of Ash Street. (e) Both sides of Santa Fe Avenue from the south line of Ash Street to the north line of Mulberry Street. (f) Both sides of Seventh Street from the south line of Ash Street to the north line of Walnut Street, except the five spaces in front of 144 and 146 North Seventh Street and the two spaces in the 100 block of South Seventh Street on the west side of the United Building. (g) The east side of Seventh Street from the south line of Elm Street to the north line of Ash Street. (h) The west side of Eighth Street from a point south of Ash Street to a point near the middle of the block. ---- Kunn-Coy P i ­—Saline. -- (i) The east side of Eight Street from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north line of Walnut Street. (j) Both sides of Iron Avenue from the west line of Fourth Street to the east line of Eighth Street. (k) Both sides of Walnut Street from the west line of Fifth Street to the east line of Seventh Street. (1) The west parking spaces in Lot 1B on the west side of Fifth Street between Walnut and Mulberry Streets. (m) Lot 2A on the west side of Fifth Street between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street. (n) Lot 2B on the west side of Fifth Street between Iron and Walnut Streets, except the east row of spaces between the two entrances to Fifth Street. (o) Lot 3A on the west side of Fifth Street between Iron Avenue and Ash Street. (p) The east half of Lot 4A between Walnut Street and Mulberry Street. (q) Lot 5A on the east side of Seventh Street between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street. (r) The east side of Santa Fe Avenue from the alley south to the mid block crossing between Elm Street and Ash Street. (s) Lot 6A on the east side of Seventh Street between Ash Street and Iron Avenue, except the west row of spaces between the two entrances to Seventh Street. (t) Two spaces in the 200 block of North Fifth Street, at 225 North Fifth. (u) Two spaces on the east side of the 200 Block of South Fifth Street in front of 245 South Fifth Street between Walnut and Mulberry Streets. LONG TERM PARKING ZONE (a) The west side of Fourth Street from the south line of Iron Avenue to the north line of Walnut Street. (b) The east side of Fifth Street from the south line of Ash Street to the north line of Iron Avenue. (c) The east side of Fifth Street from the south line of Walnut Street to the north line of Mulberry Street, except the two spaces marked for two hour parking at 245 South Fifth Street. (d) The east side of Santa Fe Avenue from the south line of Elm Street to the alley and from the mid block crosswalk south to the north line of Ash Street, except the two spaces in front of 254 N. Santa Fe. (e) Lot 1A on the west side of Fifth Street, between Walnut and Mulberry Streets. (f) East 3/4 of Lot 1B on the west side of Fifth Street, between Walnut and Mulberry Streets. (h) Lot 2C on the east side of Fifth Street, between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street. (i) Lot 3B on the east side of Fifth Street, between Ash Street and Iron Avenue. (j) Lot 5C on the west side of Seventh Street, between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street. (k) The west row of spaces between the two entrances to Seventh Street in Lot 6A on the east side of Seventh Street between Ash Street and Iron Avenue. (1) Lot 6B on the West side of Seventh Street, between Ash Street and Iron Avenue. (m) Lot 6B on the East side of Eighth Street, between Ash Street and Iron Avenue. (n) Lot 5C on the east side of Eighth Street between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street. (o) The east row of spaces between the two entrances to Fifth Street in Lot 2B on the west side of Fifth Street between Iron Avenue and Walnut Street. Section 2. That the parking limits specified in Section 1 of this Resolution shall not apply where other limits within the zones thereby created are otherwise specifically provided by ordinance. Section 3. That this resolution shall repeal all existing resolutions which may be in conflict with the provisions of this resolution. Section 4. That Resolution Number 92-4416 of the City of Salina, Kansas, is hereby repealed. Section 5. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and the installation of the appropriate signs designating the various time limits for the respective zones.
