A RESOLUTION RELATING TO BENEFITS OBTAINABLE BY CITIES
UNDER THE PROGRAM FOR FEDERAL AID ON HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas, Agreement
No. 132-92 between the City Salina and the Kansas Department of
Transportation, giving the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas
authority to act for the City, and in its place and stead, to obtain for the
City such benefits as are obtainable under the program of the Federal Aid on
Highway Construction, and obtain the benefits of such legislation for the City
on the terms and conditions set forth in such agreement as may be prepared
and approved by the Secretary of Transportation for the improvement of the
traffic signalization at the Santa Fe Avenue and Prescott Avenue intersection,
known as Project No. 85 U-1416-01 (STP0005(014)).
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
23rd day of November, 1992.
