RESOLUTION NUMBER 93-4575
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES FOR
ALL MONEYS OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, PROVIDING
AUTHORIZATION FOR WIRE TRANSFERS AND FOR DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED
CHECK SIGNERS AND AUTHORIZING SECURITIES PURCHASES AND/OR SALES
AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBER 92-4415.
WHEREAS, Bank IV Salina, Bennington State Bank, First Bank and
Trust Company, National Bank of America, Sunflower Bank and Security
Savings and Loan Association are all authorized depositories for municipal
funds; and
WHEREAS, these financial institutions require proper authorization
for wire transfers, check signers and the purchase and/or sale of securities;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Treasurer are responsible for
the daily financial operations of the City of Salina; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That all public moneys received by the City Treasurer
be deposited in Bank IV Salina, Bennington State Bank, First Bank and Trust
Company, National Bank of America, Sunflower Bank and Security Savings and
Loan Association, all of which are authorized depositories for municipal funds,
located in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, and that the said moneys
be deposited therein in the name of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Manager, City Treasurer and Accounting
Supervisor are authorized to approve wire transfer payments on behalf of the
City of Salina.
Section 3. That the City Manager and the City Treasurer may
authorize check signers for the various accounts required by the City of Salina.
Section 4. That the City Manager, City Treasurer and Accounting
Supervisor are authorized to approve the purchase and/or sale of securities for
the account of the City of Salina.
Section 5. That Resolution Number 92-4415 is hereby repealed.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
15th day of March, 1993.
