RESOLUTION NUMBER 93-4601
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR
VACATION OF A PORTION OF SCANLAN AVENUE AND A PORTION OF
CROMPTON AVENUE IN THE SCHILLING SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF
SALINA, SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed in the Office of the City Clerk
by Dean Barnum, Director of Facilities of Kansas State University -Salina
Campus, petitioner, requesting the vacation of Crompton Avenue from the west
line of Centennial Road to the east line of Scanlan Avenue; and requesting the
vacation of Scanlan Avenue from the north line of Hays Road to the south line
of Crompton Avenue, Schilling Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas; SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give public
notice as required by K.S.A. 12-504 stating that a petition has been filed for
the vacation of Crompton Avenue from the west line of Centennial Road to the
east line of Scanlan Avenue; and requesting the vacation of Scanlan Avenue
from the north line of Hays Road to the south line of Crompton Avenue,
Schilling Subdivision of the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, and stating
that the petition will be presented to the Governing Body of the City for a
hearing on June 21, 1993, and that at such time and place all persons
interested can appear and be heard under the petition.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
7th day of June, 1993
