A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF ZONING
APPEALS, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION, CONVENTION AND TOURISM
COMMITTEE, DISCIPLINARY ADVISORY BOARD, HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF SALINA, HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION, PARKS AND
RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD, SALINA ARTS AND HUMANITIES
COMMISSION, SALINA BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #1 BOARD OF
ADVISORS, SALINA BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #1 DESIGN REVIEW
BOARD.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has established through Resolution
Number 88-4016, amended by Resolution Number 90-4160, a policy regarding
appointments and administration of the citizen boards system; and
WHEREAS, Section 2(c) of Resolution Number 88-4016 calls for
appointments to be made by Resolution submitted by the Mayor to the full City
Commission for final approval; and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on certain citizens boards,
commissions and committees; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. The following persons, as proposed by the Mayor of the
Ctiy of Salina, are hereby appointed to the designated citizen boards for the
term indicated:
ACCESSIBILITY ADVISORY BOARD
Dale Patterson appointed to fill the unexpired term of
Ernest Cole to February 28, 1995.
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Dale Heuszel, reappointed for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1996.
Melanie L. Martinez, reappointed for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1996.
Charles G. Young, reappointed for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1996.
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
Harold Larson, reappointed for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1996.
Larry McCoach, reappointed for a 3 year term to
August 31, 1996.
Eric R. Hardman, appointed to succeed Deane
Allen as Outside City Representative, for a 3 year
term to August 31, 1996.
CONVENTION AND TOURISM COMMITTEE
Sandra Somers, reappointed for a 4 year term to
August 31, 1997.
Kevin N. Williams, reappointed for a 4 year term to
August 31, 1997.

Jack Henry, appointed to fill a vacancy when City
Commissioner liaison became an ex -officio member, to
August 31, 1994.
Lou Ann Dunn, appointed to fill the unexpired term of
Betsy Poer to August 31, 1995.
