6516 AnnexationCOa:60?, DATED -SAUNA r L 1 1 ORDINANCE NUMBER 653.6 (Published in The Salina Journal 1 1961) AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas. WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina, Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THEREFORE, I BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That a tract of land so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described as follows: A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, more particularly described as follows: (1) Beginning at a point which is the northwest corner of said Northeast Quarter, (2) thence east 200 feet, (3) thence south 695 feet, (4) thence west 200 feet, I (5) thence north 695 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. That a tract of land so situated that two-thirds (2/3) of a line or boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described as follows: A tract of land which is in the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 14 South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, in the Northeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 14 South, Range 3 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, in the Southwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 14, South Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian and in the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 14 South, Range 2 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian more particularly described as follows: (1) Beginning at a point 188 feet south of Oxford Drive and 200 feet east of the center line of Ohio Street; (2) thence south following a line 200 feet east of the center line of Ohio Street to a point 200 feet south of the center line of Magnolia Road which is also the common line to Sections 25 and 36; (3) thence west following a line 200 feet south of the center line of Magnolia Road to the east right-of-way of the Union Pacific Railroad; (4) thence north along said right-of-way to the center line of Magnolia Road; (5) thence east along the center line of Magnolia Road to a point 2hich is directly south of common line between Lots 24 and 25, Block 21, Belmont Addition (6) thence north along center line of easement in Block 21, Belmont Addition to the south line of Lot 8, Block 21; (7) thence northeast along easement to the northwest corner of Lot 8, Block 21; i„^N.c.OL'DAT[;L SALI V A 1 1 [I (8) thence northeast along the south line of Lot 8, across Mayfair Drive along the south line of Lot 29, Lot 10, Block 20, across Kensington Road, along the north line of LaShelle Street to the center line of Block 18; (9) thence northwesterly along the center line of Block 18, to the southwest corner of Lot 5, Block 18; (10) thence along the south line of Lot 5, Block 18, across Wesley, along the south line of Lot 13 and Lot 5, in Block 16, across Edward Street, along the south line of Lot 15 and Lot 5, Block 13 across Roach Street, along Lot 13, Block 11; (11) thence northwest along the back line of Lot 13, to the southwest corner of Lot 4, Block 11; (12) thence along the south line of said Lot 4, of Block 11, across Pearl Street to the east line of Pearl Street; (13) thence south along the east side of Pearl Street to the southwest corner of Lot 23 of Block 10; (14) thence northwesterly along the center line of Block 10 to the northwest corner of Lot 8, Block 10; (15) thence northeasterly along the north line of Lot 8, across Lewis Street, along the south line of Lot 19, Block 9, to the southeast corner of said Lot 19; (16) thence southeasterly along the back lines of Lots 20 and 21, to the southwest corner of Lot 9, (17) thence east along the south line of Lot 9, and continuing east along the same line extended 200 feet east of the center line of Ohio Street to the point of beginning. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
