ORDINANCE NUMBER 6623

AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of the
City of Salina, Kansas.
Whereas, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a tract of land so situated that the boundary lies upon or touches the
boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described
as follows:
(32-1) Beginning at a point which intersects the south line of
the main right-of-way of the Union Pacific Railroad Company
and a line 200 feet west of the center line of Ohio Street,
which is also the east line of Section 12, Township 14 South,
Range 3 West;
(32-2) thence north parallel to and 200.0 feet west of said Section
line to a point 200 feet north of the center line of Pacific
Avenue extended east;
(32-3) thence east 400 feet to a point 200 feet east of said
Section 12;
(32-4) thence south along a line 200.0 feet east and parallel to
east line of said 'Section 12 and center line of Ohio Street
to a point on the south right-of-way line of C. R. I. and P.
Railroad;
(32-5) thence crossing Woodland Avenue southeasterly to the
northeast corner of Lot 22, Block 1, Cloverdale Addition;
(32-6) thence south along the east lines of Lots 22, 21, and 20,
of said Block 1 and crossing Prospect Avenue on the same
line extended;
(32-7) thence west to the northeast corner of Lot 16, Cloverdale Annex;
(32-8) thence south along the east line of Lots 16, 15, and 14 of
said Cloverdale Annex;
(32-9) thence south along a line 240.0 feet east of and parallel to
the center line of Ohio Street to the center line of the
Smoky Hill River;
(32-10) thence northwesterly following the center of said Smoky Hill
River to the center line of Ohio Street;
(32-11) thence north along the center line of said Ohio Street to the
south line of the right-of-way of the Union Pacific Railroad;
(32-12) thence southwesterly along the south line of said railroad
to a point 200 feet directly west of the center line of Ohio
Street or the point of beginning.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
