ORDINANCE NUMBER 6612

AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance Number 5549 and the Zoning
District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain property
within the City and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the rezoning
of certain land therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, and SO NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "B". SECOND DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT. That the Zoning
District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property
be rezoned as follows, to -wit:
Rezoning of Lots 21, 23, and 25 on Republic Avenue; Lots 21
through 26 inclusive on Beloit Avenue; Lots 21 through 26,
inclusive on Minneapolis Avenue; Lots 15 through 26 inclusive
on Ellsworth Avenue; Lots 15 through 26 inclusive on Jewell
Avenue and Lots 21 through 26 inclusive on Kirwin Avenue,
all in the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University Addition
to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, to District "B".
shall become a part of District "B". SECOND DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT. That the use of said
described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations
as made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference to the Second Dwelling
House District, as aforesaid.
Section 2. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "C". APARTMENT DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map
of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance
Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned
as follows, to -wit:
Rezoning of Lots 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 on
Kirwin Avenue and Lots 2, 4, 6, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30 on
Claflin Avenue all in the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University
Addition to the City of 'Salina, Saline County, Kansas, to District "C".
shall become a part of District "C". APARTMENT DISTRICT. That the use of said described
property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations as made and
provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference to the Apartment District, as
aforesaid.
Section 3. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the Zoning District
Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, hereto duly adopted and published as a part of Ordinance
Number 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that the following desdribed property be rezoned
as follows, to -wit:
Rezoning of Lots 5, 7, 9, and 11, in Block 46, Episcopal
Military Institute Addition to the City of Salina, Saline
County, Kansas, from District "B" to District "D".
shall become a part of District "D". LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT. That the use of said
described property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions, and limitations as
made and provided for in said Ordinance Number 5549 with reference to the Local business
District, as aforesaid.

Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adopt
and publication once in the official city paper.
