WHEREAS the governing body of the City of Salina, Kansas, by resolutions on the 15th day of August, 1961, and on the 7th day of November, 1961, found it necessary to appropriate certain private property for the use of said City in constructing$ extending, installing and maintaining certain sanitary trunk lines from the south boundary of the Salina Sewage Treatment Plant located in the Northwest (quarter (NW4) of Section Eight (8), Township Four- teen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas; thence in a southerly direction to Crawford Street; thence westerly to a point on Crawford Street approximately One -thousand Three -hundred Twenty (11320) feet east of South Ohio Avenue; thence southerly to Magnolia Road, and for the purpose of condemning certain property for the construction, extension and maintenance of an addition to the Sewage Treatment Plant located in the Northwest Quarter (NW4) of Section Eight (8), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas; and, WHEREAS on the day of August, 1961, and on the --f- -= day of November, 1961, the City Engineer filed with the City Clerk a survey and description of the lands required for the same. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BO ,RD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS: Section 1. That the following -described tracts of land are hereby condemned and appropriated for easements, temporary and permanent, for the use of the City of Salina, Kansas, for the purpose of constructing, extending, installing and maintaining a certain Sanitary Sewage Trunk Line from the south boundary of the Salina Sewage Treatment Plant located in the Northwest quarter (NW -0 of Section Eight (8), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Cwo (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas; thence in a southerly direction to Crawford Street; thence westerly to a point on Crawford Street approximately One -thousand Chree-hundred Twenty (11320) feet east of South Ohio Avenue; thenc Southerly to Magnolia Road, to -wit: TRACT 1.
