6728 Street ImprovementsCONSOLIDATED-SALINA at and for the unit price for said work contained in said proposal, which proposal and contract are hereby referred to and made parts of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed, said proposal being within the estimated cost of said improvements as shown by the sworn estimates of the City Engineer on file in the Office of the City Clerk, which estimates are hereby referred to and made a part of this ordinance. Section 2. Said improvements shall be built and constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore prepared by the City Engineer on file in the Office of the City Clerk and in accordance with the proposal of said contractor and under the terms of said contract, all of which are hereby referred to and made a part of this ordinance. Section 3. That temporary notes signed by the Mayor and attest by the City Clerk be issued from time to time as the work progresses in the manner and form as required by law, the total amount thereof not to exceed the amount of $272,892.62, for such work, such notes to bear interest not to exceed 5 per cent per annum and to mature not later than December 1, I 1965, and to be issued in such amounts and at such times as money for the payment of the cost of such notes being issued to said contractor and to be redeemed and cancelled at the time that permament bonds are issued in lieu thereof. Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper. ORDINANCE NUMBER (Published in The Salina Journal _ � 1963) AN ORDINANCE ratifying and confirming a contract with Construction Industries, Inc., for the construction of certain improvements on certain streets in the City of Salina, Kansas and providing for the issuance of temporary notes to pay the cost thereof pending the i issuance and sale of bonds. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the acceptance by the City of Salina, of the proposal of Construction I Industries, Inc., hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor" as submitted to the Board of Commissioners on July 8, 1963, which is hereby found to be the lowest and best bid for such work, and the contract awarded by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina to said contractor and signed on behalf of the City by its Mayor on July 15, 1963, for the construction of certain public improvements in the City of Salina, Kansas, to -wit: 1. The curbing, guttering and pavement with concrete, 41 feet, wide, � from back of curb to back of curb, on Ohio Street from the end of existing concrete. Pavement just north of Elm Street to the center line of Pacific Street. 2. The water main to be installed within the limits of right-of-way on Ohio Street from the center line of Elm Street to the center line of Pacific Street. 3. 1" water service to be stubbed out from the main to back of curb on all platted lots and at approximately 100 feet intervals on unplatted land. 4. Sanitary main and pump station within the limits of right-of-way on Ohio Street, from the center line of Elm Street to the center line of Pacific Street. 5.
