05-10273 Petty/Working Funds1 1 IJ (Published in the Salina Journal on 14 , 2005 ORDINANCE NUMBER 05-10273 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE SALINA CODE BY AMENDING ARTICLE XIII, SECTIONS 2-240 AND 2-241, PROVIDING FOR PETTY AND WORKING CASH FUNDS TO BE ESTABLISHED WITHIN THE CITY PURSUANT TO K.S.A. 12-824a FOR THE UTILITY FUNDS, AND PURSUANT TO K.S.A. 12-171 FOR ALL OTHER FUNDS OF THE CITY. WHEREAS, a need for various petty and working cash funds has been established within the City, BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That Sections 2-240 and 2-241 of Chapter 2, Article XIII of the Salina Code are hereby amended to read as follows: "Sec. 2-240. Petty Cash Funds. That petty cash funds are authorized and established for use as follows: DEPARTMENT AMOUNT RESPONSIBLE PARTY Finance $ 400.00 City Accountant Recreation 150.00 Park & Recreation Director Water Customer Accounting 600.00 Customer Accounting Supervisor Police -Chiefs Office 300.00 Police Chief Police -Evidence Officer 500.00 Police Chief Bicentennial Center 500.00 Bicentennial Center Manager Fire Department 100.00 Fire Chief Municipal Court 25.00 Court Supervisor Sec. 2-241. Working Cash Funds. That working cash funds are authorized and established for use as follows: DEPARTMENT AMOUNT RESPONSIBLE PARTY Finance $ 50.00 City Accountant Solid Waste 300.00 General Services Director Recreation 75.00 Park & Recreation Director Golf Course 700.00 Park & Recreation Director Water Customer Accounting 350.00 Customer Accounting Supervisor Police -Records Bureau 100.00 Police Chief Municipal Court 600.00 Court Supervisor Bicentennial Center 250.00 Bicentennial Center Manager" Section 2. That the existing Sections 2-240 and 2-241 are hereby repealed Section 3.
