RESOLUTION NUMBER 94-4694
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NUMBER TWO BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS; BUCHER, WILLIS & RATLIFF, CONSULTING ENGINEERS, PLANNERS
& ARCHITECTS; AND, THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE STATE
OF KANSAS, REGARDING CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES ON THE
CRAWFORD STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PHASE III, MONTROSE STREET
TO OHIO AVENUE, BY ADDING 155 ADDITIONAL WORKING DAYS AND
INCREASING THE UPPER LIMIT OF COMPENSATION TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED THREE HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS ($306,000).
WHEREAS, the agreement for professional services between the City
of Salina, Kansas; Bucher, Willis & Ratliff, Consulting Engineers, Planners &
Architects; and, the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas, dated
November 18, 1991 set forth the required performance of professional
engineering services and payment for improvements to construct Phase III of
the Crawford Street Improvement Project, from Montrose Street to Ohio Avenue,
SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
Supplemental Agreement Number Two between the City of Salina, Kansas;
Bucher, Willis & Ratliff, Consulting Engineers, Planners & Architects; and, the
Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas regarding construction
engineering services on the Crawford Street Improvement Project, Phase III,
Montrose Street to Ohio Avenue, by adding 155 additional working days and
increasing the upper limit of compensation to an amount not to exceed three
hundred six thousand dollars ($306,000).
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
7th day of February, 1994.
