AN ORDINANCE Providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of
the City of Salina, Kansas.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in The City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a tract of land so situated that the boundary lies upon or touches
the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described
as follows:
(73-1) Beginning at a point 200.0 feet north of the center line of
Magnolia Road and 230 feet west of the center line of Quincy
Street;
(73-2) thence north along a line 230.0 feet west of the center line
of Quincy Street to the east right-of-way line of the Union
Pacific Railroad;
(73-3) thence northwesterly along the east right-of-way line of said
railroad to a point 230.0 feet south of the center line of
Wayne Avenue;
(73-4) thence east along a line 230.0 feet south of the center line
of said Wayne Avenue to a point 230.0 feet west of the center
line of Quincy Street;
(73-5) thence south along a line 230.0 feet west of the center line
of said Quincy Street to a point 200.0 feet north of the
center line of Magnolia Road or the point of beginning.
be and the same is hereby included within the City Limits of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That a tract of land so situated that the boundary lies upon or touches
the boundary line of the existing corporate limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described
as follows:
(58-3-1) Beginning at a point 200.0 feet north of the east and west
quarter section line of Section 36, Township 14 South, Range
3 West of the 6th Principal Meridian and 200.0 feet east of
north and south quarter section line of said Section 36;
(58-3-2) thence east along a line 200.0 feet north of said east and
west quarter section line to the east line extended north
of Lot 9, Block 9 of Bonnie Ridge Addition;
(58-3-3) thence south along the east lines of Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12
of said Block 9, to the southeast corner of Lot 12;
(58-3-4) thence crossing Neal Avenue to the northeast corner of Lot
16, Block 7 of Bonnie Ridge Addition;
(58-3-5) thence south to the southeast corner of said Lot 16;
(58-3-6) thence west of following the center line of easement in said
Block 7 to the northwest corner of Lot 3 of said Block 7;
(58-3-7) thence southwesterly along the northern line of said Lot 3,
continuing across Bret Avenue and following the southern
line of Lot 15 of Block 5 of said Bonnie Ridge Addition to
the south west corner of said Lot 15;
(58-3-8) thence northwesterly along the back line of said Lot 15 to
the northwest corner of Lot 28 of said Block 5;
(58-3-9) thence southwesterly along the northern line of Lot 28 to
its southwest corner;
(58-3-10) thence southwesterly crossing Scott Avenue to the northwest
corner of Lot 6, Block 6 of Bonnie Ridge Addition;

(58-3-11) thence following a curved line along said Lot 6 and also Lot
5 of the same block to a point directly opposite the center
line of easement in Block 4 of the said addition;
(58-3-12) thence crossing Joanne Lane to the northeast corner of Lot
15 of Block 4 of said Addition;
(58-3-13) thence following the north line of said Lot 15 to its north-
west corner;
(58-3-14) thence south along the west line of said Lot 15 and continuing
same line crossing Gail Drive and following the west line of
Lot 3, Block 3 of same Addition and extending same line 200.0
feet south of the south line of said Lot 3;
(58-3-15) thence west 370.0 feet, more or less, to the east right-of-
way line of Union Pacific Railroad;
(58-3-16) thence north along the east right-of-way of said railroad to
a point 200.0 feet south of the east and west quarter section
line of said Section 36;
(58-3-17) thence east 200.0 feet;
(58-3-18) thence north 400.0 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.

Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
