6670 Utility ImprovementsCONSOLIDATED -SALIVA An 8 inch clay pipe sewer, beginning at a manhole in the east parking of Ohio Street west of the center line of alley first north of Ash Street, thence east in said alley 320 feet more or less, to a point 10 feet east of the northeast corner of Lot 12, Block 2, Riverside Addition where a manhole will be built which will be terminus of Lateral 472. at and for the unit price for said work contained in said proposal, which proposal and contract are hereby referred to and made a part of this ordinance, be and the same is j hereby ratified and confirmed, said proposal being within the estimated cost of said I improvements as shown by the sworn estimates of the City Engineer on file in the Office of the City Clerk which estimate is hereby referred to and made a part of this ordinance. Section 2. Said improvements shall be built and constructed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore prepared by the City Engineer on file in the Office of the City Clerk and in accordance with the proposals of said contractor and under the terms of said contracts all of which are hereby referred to and made a part of this ordinance. Section 3. That temporary notes signed by the Mayor and attest by the City Clerk be issued from time to time as the work progresses in the manner and form and required by law the total amount thereof not to exceed the amount of $11,644.50 for such work, such notes to bear interest at not to exceed 5 per cent per annum and to mature not later than December 1, 1963, and to be issued in such amounts and at such times as may the money for the payment of the cost of such work be required, such notes to be issued to said contractor and to be redeemed and cancelled at the time that Internal Improvement Bonds are issued in lieu thereof. Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the acceptance of the City of Salina, Kansas, of the proposal of I the j Wilmoth Construction Company, hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor" as submitted to the Board of Commissioners on November 61, 1962, which is hereby found to be the lowest and ! li best bid for such work, and the contract awarded by the Board of Commissioners of said City to said contractor and signed on behalf of the City by its Mayor on November 13, 19623 for the construction of certain public improvements in the City of Salina, Kansas, to -wit'.
