AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT ALL THAT PORTION OF THE CITY
OF SALINA LOCATED IN ZONING DISTRICTS "DD", "D", "E" OR "F" SHALL
BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED tIS THE FIRE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF S. LINA;
PROVIDING THAT ANY PROPERTY WHICH SHALL BE REZONED TO ZONING
DISTRICTS "DD", "D", "E" OR "F" SHALL, UPON REZONING, COME WITHIN
SAID FIRE LIMITS, AND AMENDING SECTION 8-101 OF THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF SALINA, 1960, AND REPEALING SAID ORIGINAL SECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
ALINA, KANSAS:
Section 1. That Section 8-101 of The Code of the City of
Salin<, 1960, the same being Ordinance No. 6572, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
8-101 Fire Limits. All that portion of the City of
Salina, Kansas, now located within Zoning Districts "DD",
"D", "E" and "F" shall be known and designated as the fire
limits of the City of Salina, Kansas*
8-102. That after the effective date of this ordinance
any property which shall subsequently be rezoned to Zoning
Districts "DD", "D", "E" or "F" shall upon such rezoning be
included within the fire limits of the City of Salina,
Kansas.
8-103. Any property located in Zoning Districts "DD",
"D" ,"E" or "F" shall upon rezoning to a zone other than "DD"',
"D", t'E" or "F" be removed from the fire limits of the City
of Salina,
Section 2. That Section 8-101 of The Code of the City of
Salina, Kansas, 1960, the same being Ordinance No. 6572, be and
the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after publication in the official City newspaper.
