AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE INCGRPGRATION BY REFERENCE GF
THE 1962 EDITION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC.=iL CCDE AS PART CF THE
ELECTRICAL CUDE OF THE CITY OF SALIN,1, KANSAS, AMENDING 8-510 OF
THE CGDE CF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, 1960, AND REPEALING THE
SAID CRIGINAL SECTION.
BE I'T' ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS:
Section 1. 'that the Section 8-510 of The Code of the City
of Salina, Kansas, 1960, is hereby amended to read as follows:
6-510. National Electrical Code Incorporated by
Reference. The installation of electrical wiring and
apparatus for the utilization of electric current shall
be made in accordance with the 1962 edition of the National
Electrical Code published by the National Fire Protection
Association, the same also published by the National Board
of Fire Underwriters. Said 1962 edition of the National
Electrical Code and the errata sheet, published by the
National Fire Protection Association or as published by
the National Board of Fire Underwriters is incorporated
herein by reference and is made a part of this article.
Section 2i9�ohat Section 8-510 of The Code of the City of
Salina, Kansas,/is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its publication in the official City
newspaper.
