RESOLUTION NUMBER 94-4701
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO BENEFITS OBTAINABLE BY CITIES
UNDER THE PROGRAM FOR FEDERAL AID ON TRANSPORTATION
ENHANCEMENT PROJECTS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Salina, Kansas, Agreement
No. 98-90 between the City and the Kansas Department of Transportation,
giving the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas authority to act
for the City, and in its place and stead, to obtain for the City such benefits
as are obtainable under the Transportation Enhancement Program under the
Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA) of 1991, and obtain
the benefits of such legislation for the City on the terms and conditions set
forth in such agreement as may be prepared and approved by the Secretary of
Transportation for the construction of new interchange ramps at I-135/Schilling
Road, Widen Schilling Road, Improve Schilling Road/Ninth Street Intersection
and known as Project No. 135-85 K-3707-01.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
28th day of February, 1994.
