AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of
the City of Salina, Kansas.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That petitions by property owners have been filed on a tract of land so
situated that the boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate,
limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described as follows:
An addition to the corporate limits of the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas, more particularly described as follows:
54. Beginning at a point on the existing City Limits at the
Northeast corner of the Riker Manor Addition to the City
of Salina, said Addition being in the Southwest Quarter of
Section 17, T 14 S, R 2 W.
54.1 Thence South, along the center line of Block 5 of said
Addition, a distance of 596 feet to the North line of
Northwood Lane.
54.2 Thence East along the North line of Northwood Lane a
distance of 175 feet to the East line of Edgewood Road.
54.3 Thence South, along the East line of Edgewood Road, a
distance of 716 feet to the South line of Brookwood Lane.
54.4 Thence West, along the south line of Brookwood Lane,
a distance of 175 feet to the Center line of Block 23.
Such point being 1317.69 feet east of the West line of
Section 17 and on the existing City Limits.
All of which contains 2.9 acres more or less.
Be and the same is hereby included within the City Limits of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
