ORDINANCE NUMBER 77

AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of
the City of Salina, Kansas.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That petitions by property owners have been filed on a tract of land so
situated that the boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate
limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described as follows:
(84-1) Beginning at a point on the east line of Union Pacific
Railroad right of way and south 882.0 feet from the north
line of the southwest quarter of Section 36, Township 14
South, Range 3 West of the 6th Principal Meridian;
(84-2) thence west and parallel to said north line of quarter
section 5591 feet more or less to the west line of Ray
Street;
(84-3) thence north along the west line of Ray Street to a point
200,0 feet south of the north line of said quarter section;
(84-4) thence east 559.1 feet more or less to the east right-of-
way of Union Pacific Railroad;
(84-5) thence south 682.0 feet to the point of beginning.
be and the same is hereby included within the City Limits of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
