AN ORDINANCE providing for the inclusion of certain land within the corporate limits of
the City of Salina, Kansas,
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to the inclusion of certain land in the City of Salina,
Kansas, have come to pass, and SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That petitions by property owners have been filed on a tract of land so
situated that the boundary lies upon or touches the boundary line of the existing corporate
limits of the City of Salina, Kansas described as follows:
Addition to the Corporate Limits of the
City of Salina, Saline Co., Kansas
16 Beginning, at a point 860' Fast of the SW corner of NE 1/4 of NE 1/4.
Such point being; on the south line of the NE 1/4 of NE 1/4, said line ".
being; also the Existing City Limits.
17 Thence Northerly along; a line parallel to the East line of Sec. 2 to
the center of old Dry Creek Channel. Such line also being; the West°:,'i `
property lines of 2 parcels as described in deeds recorded in Book 177,'

18 Thence following Dry Creek Channel in a Northwesterly, North $ North-
easterly direction to its intersection with the South line of the SE 1/4
of SE 1/4 Sec. 35, T 13 S, R 3 W. Such line beingr, also the western
boundry of a parcel described in a deed recorded in Book 217, Page 493.
19. Thence continuing*, in a Northeasterly direction along; the center line
of Dry Creek Channel to its intersection with the center line of Mulberry` ,
Creek.
20 Thence in a westerly direction along Mulberry Creek to a point 400' West
of the East line of Sec. 35.
21 Thence Northerly along; a line 400' Nest of, and parallel to, the East
line of Sec. 35, to the South line of the SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 Sec. 35.
22 Thence Westerly a distance of 70' along; said south line.
23 Thence Northerlv a distance of 210' more or less, to the SW corner
of a parcel as described in a deed recorded in Book 208, Page 206.
Such point being; the intersection of the North Right of Way of a Public
Road and the West Property line of said parcel.
24 Thence along; the West boundry of said parcel in a Northeasterly direction,
a distance of 901, more or less, to a point 400' West of the East line
of Seca 35.
25 Thence Northerly along a line 400' h1cst of and parallel to the East
line of Sec. 35, to the intersection of the South Right of Way of the
Public Road along; the North line of Sec. 35. Such point being 30' South
and 400' West of the NE corner Sec. 35, T 13 S, R 3 Wo
26 Thence Easterly along; said South Right of Way to a point 200' West &
30' S of NE corner Sec. 3S.
27 Thence Northerly a distance of 230' to a point 200' North and 200'
West of the SE corner Sec. 26, T 13 S, R 3 W.
28 Thence East a distance of 400' to a point East and 200' North of
the SW corner Sec. 25.
29 Thence Southerly a distance of 230' to the South Right of Way line of
Public Road. Such point being; 30' South and 200' East of the NW corner
Sec. 36.

32 Thence Westerly along the South line of said parcel a distance of 66.7' to the
NE corner of a parcel as described in a deed recorded in Book 191, Page 217,
such point being 333.3' East and 1065' North of the SW corner of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4
Sec. 36.
33. Thence Southerly along the east property line of said parcel and the east property
line of a 'parcel described in a deed recorded in Book 207, Page 457, a distance
of 750' to the SW corner of a parcel as described in a deed recorded in Book 227,
Page 198. Such point being 333.3' East and 315' North of the SW 1/4 of NW 1/4
Sec. 36.
34 Thence Easterly along the south property line of said parcel to a point 470' East
and 315' North of the SE corner of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 Sec. 36. Such point being
the NE corner of a parcel as described in a deed recorded in Book 235, Mage 628.
35 Thence Southerly along the East Property line of said parcel a distance of 340' to
the South Right of Way line of Public Road along the South line of SE 1/4 of NW 1/4
Sec. 36.
36 Thence Easterly along said South Right of Way line to the East line of NwW 1/4 of
