AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, WITH THE APPROVAL OF
(BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS FOR THE TEMPORARY SUS-
PENSION OF THE USE OF ANY OR ALL PARKING METERS WITHIN THE CITY OF SALINA,
(KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS
XTP 130 7 4�.
Section A. The City Manager is hereby authorized and vested with
the power and authority to enter into contracts, after approval of the
terms and conditions thereof by the Board of Commissioners, for the temp-
orary suspension of the use of any or all parking meters within the City
of Salina, Kansas, on the conditions that the party or parties seeking
such suspension shall reimburse the City in an amount which shall be not
less than the average daily receipts for the preceeding month and the re-
venues received therefrom shall be credited to the parking meter fund.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take affect and be in force from
land after publication in the official City paper.
Adopted by the Board of City Commissioners this 4th day of Nov-
ember, 1963.
