RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC SALE OF $285,000 PRINCIPAL
AMOUNT OF GENERAL OBLIGATION MUNICIPAL TEMPORARY NOTES
(LANDFILL PROJECT), SERIES 1994-B, OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The General Obligation Municipal Temporary Notes (Landfill Project), Series 1994-B,
of the City of Salina, Kansas (the "City"), in the principal amount of $285,000 (the "Notes"), shall be
offered at competitive public sale with sealed bids received at the city hall in the City on Friday, March
25, 1994, at 2:00 p.m., central standard time.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to receive sealed bids for the
purchase of the Notes on behalf of the City at said time and place and to deliver all bids so received
to the governing body at its meeting to be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, at which meeting
the governing body shall review such bids and act on the acceptance of the best bid.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to give notice of said note sale by
mailing, telecopying or otherwise distributing copies of a notice of note sale to such investment bankers
and banks located in the state of Kansas and elsewhere as determined by the Finance Director of the
City.
Section 4. The City Clerk, Finance Director and the other officers and representatives of the City
are hereby authorized and directed to take such other action as may be necessary to carry out the public
sale of the Notes, including taking all action necessary to call any outstanding notes being refunded by
the Notes.
Section 5. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
