A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE ACCESSIBILITY
ADVISORY BOARD, CONVENTION AND TOURISM COMMITTEE, HERITAGE
COMMISSION, LIBRARY BOARD AND SALINA AIRPORT AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has established through Resolution
Number 88-4016, amended by Resolution Number 90-4160, a policy regarding
appointments and administration of the citizen boards system; and
WHEREAS, Section 2(c) of Resolution Number 88-4016 calls for
appointments to be made b Resolution submitted b the Mayor to the full
PP Y Y Y City
Commission for final approval; and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on certain citizens boards,
commissions and committees; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. The following persons, as proposed by the Mayor of the
City of Salina, are hereby appointed to the designated citizen boards for the
term indicated:
ACCESSIBILITY ADVISORY BOARD
Michelle A. Campbell, reappointed for a 3 year term to
February 28, 1997.
Susan Duerksen, reappointed for a 3 year term to
February 28, 1997.
-- Steve Farrar, appointed to succeed Chuck Maltbie, II for a 3 year
term to February 28, 1997.
Les Durst, appointed to fill the unexpired term of Nell M. Hanchett
to February 28, 1995.
CONVENTION AND TOURISM COMMITTEE
David Fanshier, appointed to fill the unexpired term of Robert B.
Justus to August 31, 1996
HERITAGE COMMISSION
Melissa R. Hodges, reappointed for a 3 year term to
February 28, 1997.
Cleta Mulder, reappointed for a 3 year term to February 28, 1997.
LIBRARY BOARD
Roger Struble, reappointed for a 4 year term to April 30, 1998.
