RESOLUTION NUMBER 94-4704
A RESOLUTION CLARIFYING THE NUMBERING OF LOTS
PERTAINING TO AN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT IN BLOCK 4, AUSTIN
SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS.
WHEREAS, Petition Number 4041 originally requested street and
utility imporvements for an improvement district for lots number 8 through 19
within Block 4, Austin Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, Petition Number 4041 was subsequently revised to
request the same street and utility improvements for an improvement district
for the same lots within Block 4, Austin Subdivision which were renumbered as
lots 7 through 18, and
WHEREAS, Resolution 92-4483, the authorizing resolution, relied on
the original version of Petition 4041 and described the extent of the
improvement district as lots 8 through 19, within Block 4, Austin Subdivision,
and
WHEREAS, The extent and area of the property covered by the
improvement district is the same in Petition Number 4041, as revised, and
Resolution 92-4483, the only difference is the numbers assigned to the lots,
and the owners of lots 7 through 18 have received full notice of all
proceedings pertaining to the improvement district and the related project, and
WHEREAS, The lot numbers given in Petition Number 4041, as
revised, are correct, SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. Lots 8 through 19, Block 4, Austin Subdivision are
hereby renumbered as Lots 7 through 18, Block 4, Austin Subdivision for
purposes of Resolution 92-4483.
Section 2. Those improvements authorized by Resolution 92-4483
shall apply to lots 7 through 18 in Block 4, Austin Subdivision and Resolution
92-4483 is amended accordingly..
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
28th day of February, 1994.
